7) Valparaiso Vikings (4-1; Last Week: #7)
With wins over fellow Top 10 team Munster and nearly ranked South Central, you would think Valpo would move up a few spots in this week’s Top 10 poll, but a 4-3 loss to Griffith keeps the Vikings stagnant. The Vikings can help themselves in the poll and in the DAC race this week as both Merrillville and LaPorte – two teams expected to finish near the bottom of the conference standings – are on the docket.
