Valpo High School Boys Tennis Team Defeats Marquette Catholic, Advances to Regional Final

The Valparaiso High School boys tennis team traveled to Portage for a Regional battle against Marquette Catholic High School, coming away with a 5-0 sweep of the Blazers.

In singles action, Ben Kalisch and Marty Pochop both won 6-0, 6-0, while Eric Cender came away with a 6-1, 6-0 win over his opponent. The doubles team of Peter Williams and Jered Folke won 6-2, 6-2, and the duo of Domi Szabo and Pall Baggett won 6-0, 6-2.

The Vikings advance to the Regional Final to take on Penn at Portage High School at 4:15 on Wednesday.
