PurdueLogo.jpegRegistration is open for a free, one-day program Oct. 4 for high school seniors interested in engineering.

"Seniors Exploring Engineering at Purdue" is sponsored by the Women in Engineering Program. Seniors, their parents and teachers are invited.

Students will meet professors, current engineering students and practicing women engineers. They will receive information about individual engineering disciplines and will hear from representatives from the first-year engineering program, admissions and financial aid.

The day on campus will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

Those arriving on Oct. 3 will be able to check in from 7-8:30 p.m., attend a reception and tour labs in Armstrong Hall of Engineering.

The program for seniors, which the Women in Engineering Program has sponsored for more than 20 years, is limited to 250 participants.
